Ideal candidate will have:

• Natural sales ability and previous sales experience
• A professional well-groomed appearance as we are dealing with high end clientele
• Eagerness to learn
• Patience, as many sales take time to close
• Ability to envision what a customer wants and design what they’ll be happy with and fill their needs
• Maintain customer data base
• Flexibility in work schedule (sometimes people need to meet in the evening or weekend)
• Must have own reliable car and driver’s license (future potential for company car)
• Good phone, in-person conversation, and writing skills and a nice personable personality
• Good follow up skills and attention to detail
• Someone who recognizes that every interaction has the potential for sales
• Must be a self-starter with the motivation to keep going
• Computer skills and knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office including Excel

During training you will shadow the owner and begin to handle each step of the sales process as you learn our products and processes. This job would sell products year-round for all three Great Valley divisions. Great Valley Christmas Decor provides exterior Christmas holiday decor for both residential and commercial clientele. Great Valley Awning is our custom awning division that sells retractable and stationary awnings as well as a number of different shade products. Our typical customers are residential (usually upscale homes), small commercial (restaurants, etc.),
and medium commercial (Hotels, Country Clubs). Lastly our pool service division sells custom pool covers. We have grown in sales each year we’ve been in business including the “recession” years but have a virtually untapped market. We are located in Frazer, PA.

We primarily do business in Chester County, but occasionally install elsewhere in the surrounding areas for the right job within our geographical limitations. We do not pressure people into purchasing, rather we utilize a consultative sales approach ensuring we design what will work best for our customers and develop long term relationships. Currently our sales have been limited by the owner’s availability and time. It’s now time
